Dual Line Systems
TEKAWE dual-line centralised lubrication systems are used for consumable lubrication and are mainly used for volumetric metering of consistent lubricants and high-viscosity lubricating oils.
The pressure build-up and reduction takes place alternately in two main lines. Dual-line systems operate in a pressure range from 50 to 220 bar.
FUNCTION
The pump delivers the lubricant under high pressure via the pressure line to the diverter valve. This slide valve connects the pressure line alternately with the two main lines. The main lines that are not under pressure are connected to the relief line.
The branched main lines contain metering elements, either individually or combined in assemblies, which supply the friction points with adjustable quantities of lubricant via lubrication point lines and connections.
The dual-line system works by alternately pressurising one main line while simultaneously relieving the other, implemented by switching a 4/2-way changeover spool valve.
Fields of application
The modular system enables a variety of solutions for different problems. Different variants of the automatic control system are available, so that each system can be designed reliably and economically according to your requirements.
Recommended lubricants:
- Clean, consistent lubricating greases without aggressive additives of NLGI class 3 to 000
- High viscosity gear lubricants
Metering Units
Metering Unit BIFLUX 0,3 - 3,0 cm³
The BIFLUX metering element is connected to the two main lines and supplies two lubrication points. The stroke of the metering piston and therefore the metering chamber can be adjusted using the stop screw.
Each metering element has two lubrication point connections.
The metering elements are available in the following versions:
- Single element
- With output bridge
- Blocked
